Diesel boiler repair and replacement
Most villas and townhouses at La Manga Club run on a diesel boiler. We repair burner faults, blockages from a dirty filter, ignition failures, circuit leaks and pressure problems. We work with every brand.
When the boiler is old and breakdowns keep recurring, replacement usually works out more cost-effective than continuing to repair. We offer two routes depending on the case: fitting a new boiler using the existing circuit, or making the switch to an aerothermal system if the home and budget allow. During the visit we tell you clearly what makes sense in your situation, without pushing you towards the most expensive option.
Aerothermal systems with underfloor heating in villas
If the villa already has underfloor heating, an aerothermal system is its natural partner: it works at a low temperature, which is exactly where underfloor heating performs best. We zone by rooms and floors, so each area is controlled separately and nothing is conditioned when it isn’t in use.
In villas without underfloor heating, we assess whether it’s worth installing it during the refurbishment or keeping radiators by adjusting the flow temperature.
Radiator and underfloor heating
We work on both systems present in the resort. On underfloor heating we locate zones that won’t heat, bleed and balance circuits, and replace manifolds when necessary. On radiators, we extend or renovate circuits, replace elements that have lost performance, and fit thermostatic valves to control each room individually.
Ducted and split air conditioning
In the resort’s villas, with more floor space and an available false ceiling, we install ducted air conditioning: even distribution, no units on show and the option to zone by area. In townhouses and smaller homes we solve it with splits and multi-splits, with a single outdoor unit where the layout allows.
Maintenance of diesel and gas boilers and air conditioning
Maintaining a diesel boiler is more demanding than a gas one: cleaning and adjusting the burner, combustion analysis, checking the tank and filters, circuit pressure and sealing. Skipping it is the most common cause of a breakdown in the depths of winter.
We also maintain gas boilers and air conditioning units (filters, coils, gas charge, drainage and grille distribution on ducted systems). We offer one-off checks and annual maintenance contracts, especially useful for owners who spend periods away.
Complete climate-control refurbishments at La Manga Club
La Manga Club is a high-end resort with quality villas and townhouses, many with installations that are now a few years old. Here we do both the day-to-day work —repairing a boiler that won’t start, annual maintenance, replacing a faulty unit— and complete refurbishments of climate-control systems.
The most common refurbishment combines replacing the diesel boiler with an aerothermal system, making use of or installing underfloor heating, and renewing the air conditioning. But not everyone needs a refurbishment: if your boiler only needs a repair or a straightforward replacement, we’ll tell you.
Do you live here all year or use the villa seasonally?
Many owners at La Manga Club are British or French-speaking and use the home seasonally. If that’s your case, we leave the installation ready for safe start-ups and shutdowns, and schedule a check before each period of use: it’s what stops you arriving to find the boiler stopped or the air conditioning out of gas. Our team communicates in Spanish, English and French.

Frequently asked questions about climate control at La Manga Club
Can I replace the diesel boiler with an aerothermal system?
Yes, it’s one of the refurbishments we carry out most in the resort. During the visit we check the space for the outdoor unit, the electrical panel and the existing circuit, and tell you clearly what can be reused and what needs renewing.
Can my existing underfloor heating be reused?
In most cases, yes. Underfloor heating works at a low temperature, which is exactly where an aerothermal system performs best: they usually fit together without redoing the circuit. We verify this before quoting.
Do you maintain diesel boilers?
Yes. We maintain diesel boilers, gas boilers and air conditioning units, with one-off checks or annual contracts, especially designed for homes that stay closed for periods.
